Technical Product Manager 👩‍🔧🧑‍🔧

We are looking for a Technical Product Manager in Japan. You will be a true Product Owner and take ownership of our API integrations. You will be the bridge between Business Development and Tech, helping the BD team to close the deals through supporting them from a tech point of view during sales pitches. 

What you’ll be doing:

  • You will own end-to-end our API integrations
  • Collaborating closely with architecture and engineering to design and carefully document overall system flows, integration points, and API endpoint request and responses
  • You will identify market opportunities and define product vision and strategy jointly with other teams
  • Working closely with Business Development team to anticipate and address partner needs and pain points
  • Prioritise needs (scope, timelines, resources)
  • Collaborate with the tech team to establish timeline workflows, goals, and product benchmarks
  • Utilise the data provided into user stories and necessary product requirements
  • Acting as the primary liaison for product queries, anticipating partner needs and address them
  • Handle conflicting priorities well, communicate clearly and understand how to drive a high level of focus and excellence
  • Evaluating integration progress and advise partners to increase conversions, and performance etc.
  • Working closely with new & existing partners, keeping them up to date with product developments on Splyt's side and co-ordinating integration updates & timelines

Who we are looking for:

  • At least 3 years’ experience as a Product Manager on either an API or Integration project
  • Experience working on user journeys, wireframe design, testing and design briefs
  • Strong technical understanding of API’s / Microservices
  • Solid understanding of the product life cycle
  • In-depth understanding of Agile methodologies, technical understanding of products, and up-to-date on industry standards and best practices
  • Proficient computer skills, Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Excel)
  • JIRA understanding is desirable
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Accurate and precise attention to detail
  • Previous technical support background is desirable
  • Exposure to an ever changing scale-up environment is beneficial
  • Experience working in the mobility industry preferred but not essential
  • Fluent in English & Japanese is essential
